Fun Run-2023

6/13/2023

Southtowns Catholic School held our 6th Annual Run Fun for Education this past Monday. With all of our donors' contributions, we raised over $9,200! So incredible!
Of course, Monday was the rainiest day Buffalo has seen in weeks, but that didn't stop our students from having a day full of fun. We stayed indoors enjoying the multiple photobooths, bounce slides, smoothie bike, corn hole, Jenga, and munching on cotton candy and snow cones. Lunch was from the Buffalo Farm To School To You food truck. We did venture out into the rain for the actual running portion of the day and the kids had a blast running through puddles and getting wet (the adults, not so much).
The day could not have been possible without some of our amazing parents here at Southtowns Catholic School. Mrs. Amanda West and Mrs. Amy McCarthy, thank you for putting on such a great event! Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Manassa for providing the bounce slides, snow cone, and cotton candy machines (and manning them all day!) To all of our parent (and grandparent!!) volunteers who came in to help, thank you! From working the photo booth, handing out lunches, supervising the slides, working the prizes table, encouraging our student runners, and helping us with our group picture, you made an otherwise crazy day run so smoothly for us. We thank each and every one of you!! We're already looking forward to next year!
