Students in Grades 4 and up are invited to join the Southtowns Catholic International Club, an after school club where each month we gather to learn about the people, customs and culture of countries around the world. |
Community ServiceSouthtowns Catholic School encourages and promotes Community Service among our students, beginning in Preschool through Grade 8, in our parish community, St. John Paul II Parish, in the surrounding Southtowns communities, the Diocese of Buffalo and beyond.
Students are taught to look beyond themselves and their wants and needs and look to the community at large to help the less fortunate. Service includes collecting food and clothing for Operation Good Neighbor during the school year as well as collect money for various charities. Students pray for those in need and make cards to those who have helped our school. |
Mass Celebration
Southtowns Catholic School celebrates Mass every Friday that school is in session. All grade levels attend the 8:30 AM Mass at Saint John Paul II. Our Preschool students attend once a month.
Each class is responsible, on a rotating schedule, to prepare the readings and songs for the day.
If there is a Holy Day of Obligation during the week, the students will also attend Mass.
It is the best thing we do with each other during the week...celebrate Eucharist together.
Come join us anytime!
