Tuition

The Finance Committee, after analysis of past history, projected expenses, student population, etc, recommends the tuition to the Pastor, Principal and the Educational Advisory Council who set the tuition. Parents are notified of tuition at the time of registration.

Tuition Payment Option Policy

1. Tuition may be paid in full. A $30.00 discount is applied.
2. Tuition may be paid in installments. FACTS Management Company collects tuition in May, July through March for the next school year. Tuition is deducted electronically from the bank and account of choice.

Kindergarten to Grade 8 Tuition  2021-2022

The cost to educate one child at Southtowns Catholic School is approximately $7,700.   The difference between per pupil cost and tuition is the subsidy paid by Saint John Paul II Parish and  SCS Fundraising.  (Ex: Parishioner - one child - subsidy is approximately $3,900)
 
PARISHIONER: 
(Student that attend Southtowns Catholic School, that are from a parish without a school pay Parishioner Rates)
 
One Child = $3,800           
​Two Children = $6,500
Three Children = $8,000    
 
NON-PARISHIONER:
 
One Child = $4,550    Two Children = $7,200   Three Children = $9,000


Delinquent Tuition Policy

As specified in the FACTS Management Agreement Policy, there is a $25.00 returned payment fee. Three attempts will be made to collect payments.

Preschool 3 Tuition 2021-2022

3 Year Old Program: FULL DAY! (8AM- 2PM) 
   •      Monday through Friday - $3,950.00 Per Year 
-$20 Discount if tuition is paid in full by July 15th 

$395.00 10 monthly payments - August through May
  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday-  $2,900 Per Year
​-$20 Discount if tuition is paid in full by July 15th 
$290.00 10 monthly payment- August through May 


Kindergarten Readiness Tuition 2021-2022

4 Year Old Program: FULL DAY!
 •      Monday through Friday - $3,950.00 Per Year 
-$30 Discount if tuition is paid in full by July 15th 

$395.00 10 monthly payments - August through May
  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday-  $2,900 Per Year
​-$30 Discount if tuition is paid in full by July 15th 
$290.00 10 monthly payment- August through May 
 
How does SCS Referral and Incentive Programs work?

The Referral Program:
Our Referral Program rewards existing SCS families with $250 off their tuition when a new family (K-8) mentions their name at the time of registration.

The Incentive Program
The SCS Incentive Program begins September 2020 and it applies only to currently enrolled PreK three and four year old students who will register for Southtowns Catholic School Kindergarten.
 
If a student attends both the three and four year old programs, the family will receive a $250 tuition savings upon registering for SCS Kindergarten and Grade 1.
 
If a student attends the four year old program, the family receives a $250 savings upon registering which applies only to Kindergarten.

Registration Fees

Yearly Registration Fees are due with all Registration Forms. Registration Fees are non-refundable.

  $125.00 for one child
  $175.00 for two children
  $225.00 for three or more children

​Families registering their children for Preschool through Grade 8, in addition to registering a sibling for Preschool, will pay the above rates. ​

TUITION ASSISTANCE: 
 
Parents are encouraged to take advantage of the Bison Fund Scholarship Fund. Information is sent to all parents usually in January or February for the next school year. The Bison Fund has a deadline to apply and forms should be sent as soon as possible to be put on the assistance list. Parents may also apply on-line : www.bisonfund.com
 
Southtowns Catholic School has a Tuition Assistance Program for families that qualify for the Federal Free & Reduced Lunch Program. The application form is sent in the first Communication Envelope in September. A decision is made as to the allocation of funds by the first week in October.
 
Anyone who does not fall into the above categories but wishes to be considered for Tuition Assistance should make an appointment with the Principal.
