On Thursday, we honored and thanked the men and women in our lives who have served this country. We held a beautiful ceremony and breakfast for our friends and family members with the help of Fr. Mike Johnson, who served in the Air Force, and the men from the Newell Faulkner American Post 880. Each service person was able to stand and was recognized when the song was played from their branch of the military. We ended the ceremony with a 21-gun salute and Taps, performed by 6th-grader Jordan. Every veteran received a special keychain of Father Vincent Capodanno.
