Sweet Science: Dancing Conversation Hearts
Mrs. Jane Brod's Grade 1 Science class used carbonated water & Effervescent Tablets to make candy hearts dance. The students broke into groups and discussed what they thought was going to happen during the experiment. They put carbonated water (carbon dioxide) & Effervescent Tablets into water and dropped in candy hearts to watch them dance. The "S" in STREAM is showing our students how fun Chemistry can be.
