Mondays are for STREAM here at SCS! Mrs. Roman's 5th-grade class has been reading Pam Munroz Ryan's, Esperanza Rising. In the book, the characters make homemade salsa, so for Kitchen Chem, the 5th grade tried their hand at making appetizers. The bold flavors filled the hallways. For many of the students, it was their first time cutting up veggies and using a food processor. These kids like their salsa SUPER SPICY! Great job guys!
