Students in Mrs. Joy Katra's Library class split into groups to participate in this STREAM Gold Bridge Challenge. This is part of a STREAM building and engineering project with a St. Patrick's Day Theme. The kids built a bridge using only pennies. This activity is designed to encourage critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills, as well as, problem solving and teamwork. When they were done, the bridge had to be at least 3 centimeters tall and 3 centimeters wide, stand for seconds and hold a green object.
