On Friday, April 26th, we gathered as a school community with our 8th class and their families to celebrate their Ribbon Day Ceremony. As part of their 8th grade journey, the class receives ribbons which are pinned to their left shoulders at the ceremony. Our school ribbons are blue and white. Blue represents Mary and white to represent the school. The ribbons unify the class together and tie the class to the school.
Congratulations to the class of 2024 on all of your accomplishments thus far in your academic, athletic, and personal lives. We're so proud of every one of you and the young ladies and gentlemen you have become. You still have some time at SCS, so make the most of it. Make good choices. We're so excited to see where life will take you.
We would like to thank everyone who made Friday so special for our 8th graders and their families. Thank you to the 7th grade class for serving on Friday and bringing in delicious treats (thank you to their families as well!)
A huge thank you to Mrs. Mary McCabe and her team for preparing and serving an amazing breakfast. She always delivers!
Thank you to Mrs. Manley for everything she has done for this class.
And finally, thank you to Mrs. Cooper! She is an amazing homeroom teacher for the 8th graders and always goes over and above for her students.
Congratulations to the 8th-grade class!
