On Tuesday, October 29, Southtowns Catholic School students in grades 5 & 6 toured the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum. The students toured the museum, rode the historic carrousel and then participated in a STEM workshop. The kids used a cup, paper clip, dowel, and a straw to figure out how a gear works and make the dowel go up and down. When they were done, they cut our their animal and glued it to the dowel.
