Every student at Southtowns Catholic School is welcomed into the school every morning by 2 very special people, Mr. Franz Stadler & Mr. James Trembath. They have been standing guard since December 15, 2012. This was the day after the tragic events took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School. That day Mr. Franz & Mr. Trembath made it their job to greet everyone with a smile and a "good morning" as they open the door. When asked why, Mr. Franz simply said "I need to know our children are safe." After the last bus drops off the children they make sure the doors of the school are locked and everyone is safely inside before quietly going home. They each have two grandchildren who attend Southtowns Catholic.
