After reading Not A Box ( Antoinette Portis), Mrs. Katra and Mrs. Cadin's Kindergarten Readiness class used their imaginations to transform boxes into creations of their own. The classroom turned into a launch pad for several rocket ships, and a racetrack for a few racecars. There was even an ice truck in the mix! It was so fun to see the kiddos get so excited to work in pairs and use their imaginations to create something from just an empty box. to edit.
