Our Kindergarten class celebrated their 50th day of school on Monday, November 20th! Can you believe we've been in school that long!?!
Obviously, to mark the occasion, Miss Richards and Ms. Luna pulled out all the stops for the big 5-0! The theme was the 50s of course. There were lots of poodle skirts and slicked-back hair. The kids looked adorable and really got into it. The classroom was decorated as well, it was like stepping back into a 1950s diner!
The students did all sorts of fun activities including a writing assignment where they wrote what they would like 50 of. These were pretty funny! Watch out parents, some of these kiddos want 50 dogs, 50 tigers, or 50 snakes!
Miss Richards also brought in a record, which of course these kids had no idea what it was. They ended the day dancing around to Jailhouse Rock and having a snack in the "diner". Wonder what's in store for 100 days of school?
