Students in Miss Strozyk's grade 4 class are working on a unit about Birds and their Adaptations. Using an ESP Science Kit, students discussed types of birds, characteristics of different types of birds and habits of birds. The students then built a bird feeder out of pvc pipes, aluminum trays and other recycled materials and set it up in the school courtyard. Fourth graders will watch the feeder and study the birds in their natural habitat.
