On Thursday, May 29th, our entire school came together for the 8th Annual Fun Run! This year, we added a twist with a Bubble Run for the little ones and a Color Run for students in grades K-8, making it a memorable day for everyone. The morning kicked off with a mini Field Day featuring parachute games, hula hoops, water balloons, and even dodgeball in the gym, where some moms joined in on the fun! The excitement peaked when the snow cone truck arrived, bubbles filled the air, and colorful dust began to fly. A huge thank you goes out to all the parents who volunteered their time to make this event a success, from setting up tables and grilling hot dogs to cheering on the kids and supervising activities. Special thanks to Amy McCarthy for her dedication in organizing such a fantastic Fun Run! This year, we raised approximately $6,760, and we appreciate everyone who donated and pledged to support our SCS runners!
