Happy 100th day of school!!!!! This is such an achievement for our students! They are 100 days smarter, 100 days older, 100 days closer to their next adventure!
Today our friends in kindergarten and 1st grade dressed up as their future 100 year old selves. In 1st grade, they played "a race to 100" board game with each other, had a scavenger hunt where they had to find 100 animal cut-outs hidden around the room, and each student made a poster where they glued 100 items onto it. The class also filled out a chart of "Things Mrs. Grad has said 100 times". To finish, every student got a certificate for being 100 days smarter!
In kindergarten, the class counted 100 fruit loops for a snack, made 10 groups of ten with paper, and stacked 100 cups to make towers. They too made a list of things Miss Richards says 100 times. The class did a scavenger hunt to find 100 Hersey Kisses and even did a writing assignment about something they want 100 of...
On to the next 100 days!
