On January 4th, SCS held their annual Christmas Concert at the school. It was originally going to be held in December but Mother Nature changed the date. Led by Mr. Daniel Darnley, every child from Preschool to Grade 8, sang Christmas songs. Mr. Darnley worked with 4th through 8th grade classes to arrange their own interpretation of classic Christmas Carols. Students used their ears to create melodies and advanced harmonies throughout the course of the project and then performed them at the concert. At the end of the concert, Mrs. Jennifer Hill's Grade 2 class ended the evening with a small Christmas Pageant that closed with the gymnasium singing Silent Night.
