We had a very busy day getting into the Christmas spirit here at SCS yesterday! To start the day off, the HSA generously provided the teachers and staff with breakfast and coffee. Then, it was off to the races, where each class celebrated on their own in a special way. The Pre-K classes wore their PJs to school on Monday. The Kindergarten classes decorated cookies, colored, and visited the Main Church to see the manger. The First Grade class made their own nativity ornaments and later received their gifts from Mrs. Brod! Mrs. Minton's Second Graders participated in a Secret Santa Party. The Fourth Graders in Mrs. Ebert's class made their own gum-drop structures (which was no easy task!). Mrs. Manley and the 6th Grade were a theatre group for the day and put on two nativity shows for the younger classes. The middle schoolers had small parties in their classrooms and watched Christmas movies. We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful break. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
