On September 19th, Catholic middle schools across the diocese gathered for the 8th Grade Mass at St. Joseph Cathedral in downtown Buffalo. This is such a special Mass for all the 8th graders as a kick-off for their last year together.
St. Joseph Cathedral has beautiful architecture and a rich history, adding to its character and charm. We were lucky in that Bishop Mike Fisher added a mini history lesson to his homily yesterday so we learned so much about the design and story behind the cathedral.
Our 8th graders did a wonderful job representing Southtowns Catholic. Justin and Marley even brought the gifts to Bishop Mike at the altar; great job!
Thank you to our chaperons and drivers: Mrs. Leah Battista, Mrs. Kim Overby, Mr. Joe Constantino, and of course, Mrs. Ann Cooper!
