The Kindergarten & Preschool wing of Southtowns Catholic School created a Art Museum. The first display at their museum is "Not a Box" because the Kindergarten Readiness classes read the book "Not a Box" by Antoinette Portis. In the book, the character takes a box and makes all different things with it and it is never just a box. The students then took their boxes and made the Eiffel Tower, a House, a Castle, a Robot, a Bear, a Treehouse, a space ship, an Alien, the Polar Express, an Umbrella, an Airport, and a Truck. What a great way to use their imagination.
