On Friday, November 8th, Southtowns Catholic School welcomed Newell-Faulkner American Legion Post 880. The Honor Guard stood in front of the school as all of the kids stood and said the Pledge of Allegiance. Mr. Dick Casseri played the official hymn for each branch on his saxophone as each child stood if they had a family member in that branch. After, the students joined the Honor Guard outside for a 21 Gun Salute and the raising of the American Flag.
Thank you to everyone that came and celebrated Veterans Day with us. We thank our Veterans not just on Veterans Day but everyday.
