Students in Miss Cassi Johnson's Grade 3 class celebrated May Crowning. In honoring the Virgin Mary as "the Queen of May", the children placed a crown of roses on Mary's head. After the ceremony, the children received their 1st bible and then had little reception with their families in the community room. May Crowning takes place every year around Mother's Day with the Grade 3 students who made their "1st Communion"
