On Tuesday, September 27, Mrs. Ross's Kindergarten Class, Mrs. Johnson's Grade 1 Class and Mrs. Hills's Grade 2 Class visited “Harvest Happenings” in Forestville, New York. Students had the opportunity to celebrate fall while visiting a grape farm! Their field trip included tasting grapes and a variety of grape juices, building a scarecrow, a hayride through the decorated vineyards and a visit with farm animals. The students also were able to take home a small pumpkin.
