Mrs. Grad's 1st grade has been learning about animal traits in science. To get a better understanding of some of these animal traits, each student got a container of dirt and used clothespins to mimic a bird's beak trying to find gummy worms in the dirt. Then, they hid the worms for the next person to find. Sounds like a fun way to learn!
