Mrs. Grad's 1st-grade class has been learning about light waves, so they conducted a science experiment. The class was split into groups, and each group got a box with a small hole in it. They had to test if they could see what was inside the box with just that hole, which they could not. The class talked about how one cannot see objects unless light is illuminating them The groups worked together to come up with a solution to poke another hole in the top, and shined a flashlight through the original hole to see the object in the box. Then, they rotated groups and drew what they saw in each box now that they could see the object.
