Health Requirements

Parents must notify the School Nurse if their child(ren) has a contagious disease.

Students that have a fever or vomit will not be admitted to school until 24 hours of the episode has occurred. NYS / Erie County Health requirement.

Students who require medication during the day must present a dated and signed permission form from the parent and doctor. Parents should bring medication to school. The nurse will administer medication including inhalers, nasal sprays, etc. in the nurse's office. Medication must be in its original container. Students may never self-medicate, this includes cough drops or analgesics.

In case of emergency, all students are required to have an Emergency Information Record on file in the school office and health office.
