Protecting God's Children
The US Conference of Bishops and the Diocese of Buffalo mandate that coaches must attend a "Protecting God's Children Workshop" before they can coach. Please consider attending one of the following workshops by checking available sessions on the Diocese of Buffalo website.
You can register on-line at www.buffalodiocese.org. Scroll down the left die to "Protecting God's Children". Go to the Registering Page and register.
Even though you attend the workshop at another parish, make sure that the site you choose at the local level is Southtowns Catholic School.
Once you have completed the workshop, you will be registered with Virtus.org. Visit the site to complete monthly Training Bulletins and yearly certification.
