Asbestos

AHERA regulations require Southtowns Catholic School to inform parents and staff yearly that it has an Asbestos Management Plan on file in the School Office and that it is available upon request to be reviewed. SCS has a yearly Asbestos Inspection by the Diocese of BUffalo and is in full compliance with all government guidelines.

Pesticides

​New York State Education Law Section 409-H, requires schools to provide written notification to all persons in a parental relation, faculty and staff regarding the potential use of pesticides in the school and to maintain a list of persons who wish to be notified 48 hours prior to written notification of certain pesticide applications. Parents will receive a Notification Letter in the first Communications Envelope of the school year.
