Academic Intervention
NYS Department of Education mandates that any student who falls below the proficiency level on a state test be accommodated with academic intervention.
Southtowns Catholic School provides academic intervention and assistance to students in Reading and Math upon recommendation of the student's teacher. Special Services are provided for qualifying in need from the Frontier School District.

Special Services
Students may qualify for special intervention through achievement tests (NYS) Testing in Math & Reading and/or by request of a teacher. Southtowns Catholic School has a full-time Reading Specialist and remedial teacher for this purpose.
If they qualify, students are entitled to services in Speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, a Consulting Teacher, if they qualify, from the Frontier School District. Psychological Testing is available through the Frontier District at the request of parents in consultation with their child's teacher.
