Physical Education
Meet Mr. Procknal
This is my 6th year teaching! I graduated from The University of North Carolina at
Wilmington with a degree in Physical Education and Health. At UNCW I worked as a
Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2008. I also have over 20 years of experience as a
Personal Fitness Trainer with a background in Pilates, Yoga, Strength Training, and
Stress Management.
I taught school K-12 in North Carolina and have recently moved back to Buffalo, I am a
huge Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. When Buffalo brings home a championship I
will be able to die happy. I enjoy working out, reading, being with friends, family, and
hiking. I also enjoy teaching and practicing yoga.
In 2009-2010 I worked as a firefighter and Ocean Rescue Lifeguard at Wrightsville
Beach! This was one of my greatest accomplishments and as a result, showed me the
value of hard work, focus, and determination.
Since I was young I have always had a gift of connecting with children. I absolutely love
my job and receive a ton of happiness and wisdom from my students. They truly
brighten my days. I hope I can have a positive impact on as many of their lives as I can.
