Parent Teacher Guild
The PTG is an organization of the parents and teachers of Southtowns Catholic School. The PTG is made up of an Executive Board, Voting Board Members and Parent Members. The Executive Board is appointed by the pastor and principal.
The PTG’s goal is to foster a nurturing and caring environment that strives for continued parent involvement in helping build a better educational environment for our children. We also promote a school community where teachers and administrators can do their best with the resources we can provide and help make school fun. Through fundraising efforts, the PTG is able to donate funds to purchase educational materials and equipment for the school as well as being involved in efforts to help the local community.
For the PTG to be effective and a true representation of the school, it is essential to have parental involvement from all parents. The PTG Board holds regular monthly meetings, the dates are listed below. All meetings are at 6:00pm at school. Please consider joining us. Keep in mind that by being involved, you will get to enjoy interacting with the kids, become friends with other parents and accomplish things that truly make a difference.
The purpose of the PTG is to foster the best interest of the student body through mutual cooperation of the Pastor, Parents, Principal, Religious, and Faculty of Southtowns Catholic School.
