8th Grade "Theology of the Body": This was the 4th week of our class, which meets on Thursday mornings. In Weeks One and Two, we discussed the three questions asked by everyone during their life time: Who am I? Where am I going? and How do I get there? We learned that human beings are unique in creation because they are the only creatures God created solely out of love, for love. We are made to live in a loving relationship with God and others, just as God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit live in loving relationship with one another. (That's what it means to be made in God's image and likeness!) We talked about the uniqueness of every human person, and how important every one of us is in the eyes of the God that loved us into being. The students made poster collages to symbolically represent who they are. They are on display in the hallway outside our classroom.
